Hearty Finnish Cabbage Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 medium cabbage
- 3 carrots
- 5 potatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 liters of water
- 4 beef bouillon cubes
- 10 allspice berries
- Marjoram to taste
- 1-3 tablespoons of syrup
- 500 grams of ground lamb, pork, or beef
Instructions:
- Prepare the Vegetables:
- Shred the cabbage and slice the onion thinly.
- Peel and dice the potatoes and carrots into cubes.
- Cooking the Base:
- Place the cabbage and carrots in a large pot.
- Add 2 liters of water to the pot.
